LINCOLN STREET PARKING GARAGE

FME provided geotechnical services for the City of Columbia's 675-car Lincoln Street Parking Garage. The facility is approximately 185 feet wide and 290 feet long with three elevated parking levels and a partial basement level.
FME performed a subsurface exploration and laboratory testing. After analyzing the data, FME provided a seismic site classification and developed design recommendations for site preparation and foundation systems.
During construction, FME conducted on-site testing and inspection of soil, concrete, and steel, as well as laboratory testing of soil, aggregate, and concrete samples in our AASHTO-accredited laboratory to verify conformance with project requirements.
