INDIAN LAND MIDDLE SCHOOL EXPANSION
Indian Land, South Carolina
FME provided geotechnical services for various expansions to Indian Land Middle School. The project consisted of two classroom additions, a new wing for ten classrooms and two administration offices, and parking upgrades.
Working for the District’s civil engineer, FME performed a subsurface exploration and laboratory testing, and developed recommendations for site preparation, grading and fill placement, shallow foundation design, grade-supported slabs, pavement design, and International Building Code seismic design parameters.
